Robert Eric Dammann


Robert Eric Dammann – 42- passed away on September 23, 2020 . Robert was born on Dec. 14, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dennis & Carolyn Dammann.

When Robert was 7 his family moved to St. George.  Robert loved sports. He started running in track meets and even held the state record in the 100 meter dash for some time.  He also loved snowboarding and wakeboarding.

Robert attended Pineview High School where he was involved with Track and Football. He graduated from Pineview in 1996.   After graduating he moved to Portland Oregon.  He lived in Portland for a number of years but eventually returning to St. George.

On 4/5/2008 Robert married Danielle Louise Scott (later divorced).  They have 2 children, Kai (11) and Kirra (8). Robert was a fantastic dad and loved spending time with Kai and Kirra.  They were the light in Roberts life.

Robert worked at St. George Rehabilitation for 8 years as the maintenance manager, and then at National Assemblers Inc.

He is survived by his children Kai (11) and Kirra (8), parents, Dennis and Carolyn Dammann, brother, Daniel Dammann, sister, Michelle Dammann, all of St. George.

A memorial service  will be held on Thursday Oct. 1,2020 at 4:00 pm in the chapel at Spilsbury Mortuary (110 South Bluff Street, St. George Utah.) For the safety of everyone, Face Masks are required.   1. Robert was a friend to my son Danny Stuart in High School. They stayed friends over the years. Robert was a nice young man when I met him. So sorry for your loss. We are sad he passed so young. He drove my son Danny home after he crashed on his bike. We will always remember him.

  2. As kids, we had sleepovers on the trampoline, late nights sneaking onto the golf course with our bikes, scary movies, trying to keep his go kart running,.. too many memories to list. Even though I didn’t see Rob in the past 20-ish years, he’ll be missed even more now. I wish we still had the opportunity to reconnect someday. Rest In Peace Rob.

  7. We are at a loss for words. I worked will Rob at care center for many years and my husband played golf with him several times. Rob you are truly missed! You were just the best person to be around. Your beautiful children will live on with your name. Thank you for being such a wonderful person.
