  11. The thought of Gerry being gone, just breaks my heart. I loved him like he was my brother, kind of feel like we grew up together in the trucking industry. My dad was good friend with Russell Bastian and had the pleasure of knowing Gerry also he is deeply saddened. My thought and prays go out to all of his family and Joe I am thinking of you especially. If you need anything know we are here for you.

  12. What A GREAT SMILE and A Great Man! Speechless…. Not sure what to say.. Saddened by the loss, I want to know how he died.. Although it is probably none of my business. My guess would be CHF. Being around all the exhaust and ozone probably did a terrible number on Gerry’s health. Working in the transportation industry is very hard work.. Underpaid and underappreciated. We need to realize that without the hard working haulers we wouldn’t have anything. It is because if them that we have food on our tables, gas in our tanks and so much more.. I want to give a special thank you to all the drivers and workers in the transportation industry.. We need ya, appreciate ya and hope you get bigger pay raises. I am also saddened by the modest man Jerry, Selfless, giving and he deserves a memorial. That may not be what he wants but it may be the way the community wants to thank him and many others that have served our country. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. So sorry for your loss.
