  1. With deep sadness I learned that a dear friend, Clair had passed away. I will always remember his kindness and friendship t o me and my family. I know we can find comfort in remembering the good times we had with him. I will never forget my experiences with Clair when we were all in the Las Vegas 51st Ward together.

  2. This is a really good man. I enjoyed him much at Millard High School. He was a great student and a standout athlete. I loved to watch him run in a totally unique upright position. Joan, I send you my love and hope in the gospel. You know the truth about life and death. You and he are eternal companions. I cannot even imagine, however, losing Win. We were married 2 months after you. I share with you your deep sorrow at your loss of his companionship. God bless you in your grief. Eddie Peterson

  3. Joan –
Please accept my condolences to you at this time. Clair was my good friend, neighbor and classmate. I could always count on him through thick and thin. I’m sad that life is so busy that I didn’t take more time to call or email more often. I had strong impressions that I needed to call Clair these past weeks and I didn’t follow through, much to my regret.
He was such a good man and great example to everyone during his time in mortality.
My best to you and your children as you travel the road ahead without him.
    Love, Sharon Stevens Marlor

Thus, I guess it’s only proper that you lead the way once again and with luck in the not to distance future I can follow again on the path that you have so faithfully blazed. Thank you for your friendship and the influence that you have had on my life and may God bless us all “Till we meet again.”

  7. Joan –
So sorry to hear of the passing of Clair. He is such a good man and has done much good during his life here on earth. I am sure that will continue in another sphere. I always admired him in our high school days and it was good to see the two of you serving in the temple while we served there. Please accept my deepest sympathy. The road ahead for you will not be easy but with the help of our Savior you will be ok. I pray that you will receive the peace and comfort that only God can grant.
