Gloria Colosimo Hohrein

Gloria was born in Price, Utah on March 8, 1950.  Her life in this world ended on July 7, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.  Beyond her basic goodness, generosity and the joy she brought with her smile and kindness, her overriding legacy, and the one she was most proud of, was her commitment and life-long dedication to her calling, which was special education and making so many lives better than they otherwise would have been, as so many of her students and their loved ones know so very well.   She will be missed so very much by so many.

  1. I loved Gloria, and was really looking forward to spending time with her this year. I am so sorry to hear she had gone. My sincerest condolences to her loved ones.

  2. We were very saddened to hear of Gloria’s passing. She was too young to leave us! We always enjoyed being around her at high school! We lost track of each other after that but she was always a very special person. We hope that your sweet memories of her will help you at this difficult time in yours lives.

  3. Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family.
Remembering the fun Christmas parties when you guys lived in Salt Lake. Have some great pictures of Santa with the kids.

  4. Gloria was my supervisor and friend in Colorado. I was so lucky to get to have one last visit with her last January. She was already quite sick. But it was nice to hear her wry sense of humor again. She was always so supportive of others. Her love of children was infectious, and her mark on the communities she served will never be fully realized. RIP friend, and thank you.
