Therrol Sorensen Millett our loving father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend passed away at age 84 on January 13, 2023, in St. George, Utah.
Therrol was born April 22, 1938, in Los Angeles, California, to Joseph and Iris Sorensen Millett and was raised in Leeds and St. George, Utah.
Therrol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a strong testimony of the gospel and had a deep love for his Savior Jesus Christ. He served in many positions throughout his life. He served in the San Antonio, Texas mission from 1959--1961.
Therrol was blessed with many talents, he especially loved tennis and softball. He won many awards, including the state championship, playing tennis in high school. He loved softball and was active in the Huntsman Senior Games for many years.
Therrol also loved the outdoors. He worked many summers in Bryce Canyon as a young man where he loved and appreciated God's country. He loved fishing, deer hunting, camping, and taking many trips on his 4-wheeler with his family and friends.
Therrol loved taking drives and spending time with his wife Elda. They had many adventures traveling throughout Europe, Canada, and Alaska together.
Therrol loved his dog, Danny Boy, and cat, Lyla, which were by his side all the time.
He is survived by his wife Elda Anne Leavitt Millett; 5 children: Matthew (Lori) Millett, Tracy Cottle, Gregg (Sandra) Millett, Joseph S.(Mickey) Millett, Rebecca (Edward) Farnham, 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Therrol was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Iris Sorensen Millett, eternal wife Renee' Stewart Millett, and grandson Matthew T. Millett.
Viewing services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm, and again on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 10:30-11:30 am, at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 12:00 pm, also at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, St. George, Utah.
Interment will take place at St. George City Cemetery, 650 East Tabernacle, St. George, Utah.
