On March 1, 2025, Steven H Bradbury returned home to his Heavenly Father.
Steve was born April 28, 1951, in Fredona, Kansas. He was the second son of Dortha and Floyd Bradbury. Steven graduated from Moundridge High School in 1968. On August 28, 1971, Steve married his high school sweetheart Sherry Ann Graber. Together they had four sons. Aarron, Jarrod, Steven, and Kristopher. On October 2nd, 2015, after battling cancer with the courage of a lioness, Sherry passed.
After moving to St. George from Toronto, Canada, where he ran a division of the BRADBURY CO., Steve embarked on a lifelong journey into Real Estate. He brought Re/Max Realty to St. George and built it into the top office in his market. Later in life, he guided the building of Purgatory Clay Sports into what it has become today.
On February 4, 2017, lightning struck twice, and Steve married Lindy Luben Bradbury. Adding Erin, Brady, and John to the family. They then embarked on a life of growth, service, and lots of love.
Few things on Earth were more important to Steve than service to his community. He and Lindy were called as missionaries with the Addiction Recovery program for the LDS Church. Steve loved them like family. The only thing that he loved more than serving his community was his family. Especially his grandchildren. He was most happy at home with as many of them as he could gather around.
On March 1, 2025, Steve spent what could have been the best night he had in years with his kids and his grandkids laughing and joking with his sweetheart right by his side. With all of them gathered around, it was soon evident that his time to leave had arrived. Tears were shed and peace came as he quietly passed into the arms of our Savior.
Steve was larger than life, as anyone who knew him could attest from the stories he would tell in the laughter and love that he created in all of our lives. We love you Big Guy. Rest easy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 am at 124 North Valley View Drive, with a visitation before the service from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the same location.
