Sarah (Gerry) Williams

Sarah (Gerry) Williams of Saint George, Utah, aged 76, passed away peacefully with her husband of over 5 decades, by her side. Gerry was a beautiful, vibrant, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Gerry was born in North Carolina among the Great Smokey Mountains of the Blue Ridge. She was raised with her parents and 8 siblings in the small town of Spruce Pine. She married her husband of over 50 years and first settled in South Texas, where they had two sons. Later, the family moved to several different states, finally coming to Saint George to retire, together with all their family.

Gerry was a doting grandmother of 6 grandchildren who always had time for everyone she met. There wasn’t a day that went by, her grandchildren and her friends around her didn’t know the love and the care she had for them.

Gerry is survived by her loving husband, her two sons, six grandchildren (Utah), and her one last, surviving brother (North Carolina).

A private, family funeral service is being performed in Saint George. A celebration of Gerry’s life will be held at a later time for all of those who loved her.
