Dr. Paul Curtis Mountford, 84, of St. George, Utah, passed away on the 27th of May of natural causes. He was born in Payson, Utah, in 1938 and subsequently spent many of his early years in Heber, Utah, before attending the University of Utah for his college and medical school training. In 1969 he moved to Port Orchard, Washington, where he practiced Family Medicine for 27 years, including the delivery of hundreds of babies for local families. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, and telling stories.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lynnae B. Mountford; his sister, Karen, and brother, Asa; His children, Mark (Natalie), Lisa, and Frank Mountford. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Paul (Julie and Samuel Mountford (Alex), as well as his great-grandchildren, Henry, and Lukas Mountford. He was predeceased by his son, Lynn.
Dr. Mountford will be cremated on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George, Utah.
