Paul Richard McElhiney, 91 of St. George, Utah passed peacefully on January 30, 2023.
Paul was born in Woburn, Massachusetts on June 24, 1931, to the late Carl H. and Margaret (McPartlin) Mc Elhiney. Paul attended Bentley College in Massachusetts receiving a degree in accounting.
Paul retired from Walbar Inc. as President and CEO.
Paul was a First Lieutenant Company Commander with the Massachusetts National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lorraine Mc Elhiney and Clair Rowny, his sister.
Paul is survived by Barbara Lemeisz, his sister of Danvers, MA, his three children William Depper
Mc Elhiney (Paula) of Monson, MA, Elizabeth (Michael) Keating of Worcester, MA, and Gerard
Mc Elhiney (Leslie) of Gilbert, Arizona, and his grandchildren: Benjamin Mc Elhiney (Paula) of Stoneham, MA, Danielle Mc Elhiney (Michael Christ Jr) of Moon Township, PA, Andrew Keating (Caleigh) of Franklin, MA, Erin Borghetti (Paul) of Franklin, MA. Paul had five great grandchildren: Domenic and Sean Mc Elhiney of Stoneham, MA, Lillian Borghetti of Franklin, MA and Rowan and Lane Keating of Franklin, MA.
Lorraine’s children: Vivian (Eric) Deets, Huntsville, AL, Lynda (David) Jackman, Utah. Paul is survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank nurses and staff of Enhabit Hospice for their support and care. Along with Heather, his personal home care provider who treated Paul with kindness and respect, and Janie Earl for her medical support.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Sun River 2nd Branch with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 am, 4461 South Country Club Drive, St. George, Utah.
Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah.
