Patricia Ann Swyers Leavitt
Pat joined her Heavenly Father on November 11, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. Pat was born on June 23, 1944 to Jennie Swyers Thompson (McKnight) & Terry Swyers Sr. in Mesquite Nevada.
She married her best friend Nolan Leavitt on April 21, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nevada and was later sealed in the St. George, Utah Temple.
Pat had many different joys in her life, but her 5 children and family ranked highest. Her love and kindness were far reaching, she never met a stranger in life. Pat and Nolan raised their family in Las Vegas and retired to St. George, Utah and eventually bought a little farm in Logandale, Nevada. Pat was a fantastic cook, she loved sharing her talent and was a local star at Leavitt’s Kitchen Center. She would say that being in her kitchen was her “Disneyland”. She was a very smart businesswoman. Pat had a fantastic sense of style and loved interior design and helped many people decorate their homes.
Of the many ventures she started, the most impactful business, magnifying her natural gifts of generosity, compassion and empathy was her dōTERRA essential oil business. Her reach was influential far and truly worldwide.
She is survived by her spouse of 58 years, Nolan Leavitt, her children Wendy James, Scott Leavitt his spouse Shanna Leavitt, Sean Leavitt, Ryan Leavitt and Rachel Laub her spouse Chad Laub. Her grandchildren Brandon,Ty and Zackary James, Ayden and Addison Leavitt, Halie Lamb (Laub) Chase, Colby and Carson Laub.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and Terry Swyers, siblings Faye Barton, Terry Swyers Jr. and son-in-law Rob James.
A celebration of Pat Leavitt’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Dedication of the grave at 12:00 noon at Tonaquint Cemetery 75 East 200 North St. George, Ut 84770.
At 1:00 pm a short program and memory filled luncheon to follow at the LDS Stake Center at 595 N 2450 E St. George, Ut 84790.
