La Verkin- Michael Dan Solomon, 60, passed away June 15, 2019 unexpectedly from natural causes. He was born January 11, 1959 in Inglewood, CA to Daniel Jack Solomon and Lucille Fattler. He was married to Fidelina Hilerio.

Mike was raised in California, Virginia, and New York, but he fell in love with Utah and the red dirt in his late teens. He was drawn to the outdoors and nature, which quickly turned to his love for landscaping. He spent many years working on golf courses and local landscaping businesses. He always had a wealth of knowledge with plants and landscaping. He grew up with parents heavily involved in the art scene, which passed on to Mike’s love for drawing. Mike had a keen ear for music. His happy place was always with a guitar in his lap. You could always find Mike in a tie dye shirt. Mike left an impression on everyone he met. He was kind to all and never judged anyone for their past. He had a big heart to love and always had a very special place for his friends and family. He left this earth too soon, but his legacy in his family is a testament of the bonds of love that Mike radiated.

  1. Soft spoken gentleman that loved his family. He will be missed, especially by his girls and grandchildren. You will be reunited someday and that does provide some peace, but, it doesn’t change the fact that you will miss him everyday. Sweet and loving memories help you through!♥️

  2. I am very sorry for the loss of your dear Michael. May the memories you shared with him, bring you comfort during this difficult time. God’s word, the Bible, can provide you with great comfort as it has to many readers world wide. May the promise highlighted at John 5:28,29 help you look forward to the future with the hope of seeing your loved ones again.
