McKenzie took her first breath on October 27, 1993, at 9:08 am, and arrived in this world as our Angel Baby Girl, an answer to many prayers. Her mom and sisters all thought they’d be getting a baby brother, but McKenzie blessed us as the final piece to our family, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. She took her last breath on September 11, 2023, at 9:08 am, surrounded by her family leaving peacefully becoming our real life, Angel Girl.
McKenzie wore porcelain skin and perfectly blushed lips. People would call her Snow White wherever she would go. Her heart was pure, and she gave love to anyone she encountered - from her husband, to her two children, her family, friends, co-workers, and all the patients she cared for at work.
Her humor and wit was far superior to anyone around. She would sit back and observe a group laughing and joking, then she came in with the ultimate mic drop, leaving everyone roaring with laughter.
She didn’t require praise or attention. She served selflessly, giving all she had, and then gave even more.
Her early childhood was spent playing dress up, changing at least six times a day, much like her daughter Harper does now. She loved dancing, singing, playing softball, and being outdoors with her family. They spent a lot of time camping and fishing and carried on many traditions, creating more memories. She attended Dixie High School, where she was a member of the Cheer Squad with Flyer Blue running through her veins. She graduated in 2012. After a few seasonal jobs, started her health care career at Bio Life, where she met the love of her life, Brendan Judd. He would schedule appointments and request her pod until he finally had the courage to ask her out.
Brendan and McKenzie married in 2017 and welcomed two sweet children into this world. They were best friends, spending every free moment together. She was his dream come true, and he loved her like the Queen she was. She dedicated many hours working at Fresenius Dialysis Center where her co-workers and patients became family. McKenzie excelled in patient care, as well as educating and training many techs. Just as Brendan would request her for his appointments, many patients at the Dialysis Center did as well. Her love and compassion were unmatched. She was a safe space, creating a welcoming and trusting environment.
Family was very important to McKenzie. She always made sure everyone felt included and loved. McKenzie kept a very close circle of true friends. She loved fearlessly, listened without judgement, and advised with compassion. We know that she is welcomed with open arms by her Heavenly Father and her Grandma Barbara, whom we are sure welcomed her with a hug and a love pat on the bum.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brendan Judd, her two children, Harper (6) and Hunter (3), stepson, Briggs (12), her parents, John and Arlene Kendall, and her older sisters, Aubrey Frei and Stephanie Hansen.
