Mace Karl Church

In Loving Memory of Mace Karl Church.

Mace Karl Church, 76 years of age, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, while holding his wife Lillian's hand. Born on November 2, 1948 in St. George, Utah, he is a cherished son, brother, father, husband, grandfather, and friend, who lived a life of love and service to all that knew him.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Mace served his country with honor and integrity. His years in the Navy instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and commitment, values he carried throughout his life. In the most recent years of his life, he was frequently seen sporting his navy hat while in the Veterans home, surrounded by comrades.

Mace was blessed with a large and loving family. He is the father of ten children from his first marriage, and has been a father figure to Lillian's four children. He has a legacy of three marriages, each marked by love, commitment, and cherished memories. He is a loving grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and served as a grandfather figure to many children of the Centennial Park Community, where he has resided since 2001. His families, his community, and his friends, brought him immense joy and pride. He was known for his warm smile, quick wit, and unwavering support for those he loved.

In his later years, Mace found joy in fishing, camping, gardening, researching many subjects, and all things of modern technology. He cherished his relationship with the youth in his life and loved spending time with them discussing politics, popping popcorn, teaching manners, going for Sunday drives, rubber band fights, and making paper airplanes. He will be remembered as a man of strength, kindness, and resilience, who touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his wife Lillian Musser Church, (daughters) Mechele, Laura, Bambi, Malea, Alaina, (stepdaughters) Lillian, Anne (sons) Richard, Aaron, Thor, Joseph, (stepsons) Jacob, Hyrum, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
