Karen Oleson, a beacon of love and genericity, passed away on May 28, 2024, in St. George, Utah. She was born April 9, 1946, in Ogden, Utah. To Lewis W. (Louise Muir) Thomason. She married Glenn E. Oleson on November 4, 1989, and was sealed in Salt Lake Temple on February 23, 1991.
Karen was raised in Clearfield, Utah, and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1964. She had lived in Syracuse Utah, Clinton Utah, and Hurricane, Utah, her profession was Beautician, and her hobbies were Genealogy, Crocheting, and Cooking, and she served the LDS Church in Genealogy and food storage. interests were traveling.
She is survived by Sister Sharon Fay Weber and Sister Lu Ann Hanson. Her son, Christopher D. (Melanie) Cowdin lives in St. George, Utah, Stepson, Scott G. (*Sunni) Oleson lives in Seoul, Korea, Stepson Mark D. (Kirsten Fletcher) Oleson lives in Bend, Oregon, Stepson Kenneth (Heather) Oleson residing in Payson, Utah. She has 14 Grandchildren & 14 Great-Grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by, Her parents, Sister Celia, Brother Stephen G. Thomason, and Sister Donna Delyn Faldalen.
Funeral graveside services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the Toquerville cemetery on Toquerville Blvd. in Toquerville, Utah.
