Joy Elaine Williams Larson

Joy Elaine Larson passed peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Selby and Beulah Williams on August 18,1942. She spent 23 years as a special education teacher where she was able to share her kindness and compassion with children.

Joy married her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life, Roger Lee Larson, on September 24, 1960. They were able to enjoy many years of travel together throughout their lives, Maui being their favorite place to be together. Joy was an example of positivity and unconditional love, always giving clarity and comfort to others.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roger Lee Larson, her son Donny Jack Larson, her mother Beulah Williams, her father Selby Williams, and her brother Evan Williams.

She is survived by her son Dan Larson, her daughter Kindy Carsey, her daughter Kim Gunnell, 10 grandchildren,15 great-grandchildren, and her brother Noel Williams.

She was shining light on anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey here on Earth was marked by love compassion and unwavering faith in God. Her passing will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

"We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended but for the way it was lived and the profound impact she had on all the lives who had the pleasure of knowing her."

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Heber City Cemetery. 680 North 550 East, Heber City, Utah 84032
