Jeffrey Wayne Holt

After a long and courageous battle with severe health challenges, most recently multiple myeloma, Jeffrey Wayne Holt passed from this life on March 23, 2024.

Born in Ohio on October 31, 1957, Jeff was adopted around the age of two by his adoring sister and his parents, Stan and Jeannine Holt. Growing up in Enterprise, Jeff played several sports during high school before graduating from the EHS “Wolf Pack” in 1976.

Later, one of Jeff’s most rewarding experiences was as a volunteer coach for disabled children. At his own expense, he made sure each child got a trophy for their efforts. Jeff was a hard worker and a friend to all. He loved visiting with people and being on the road. In his professional life, he drove truck for several different companies and eventually started his own trucking business, Smokin’ Guns Express, Inc. In his free time, Jeff loved to fish and enjoyed being in the outdoors. His dream was to have a small plot of land, covered with cedar trees, where he could spend time just breathing fresh mountain air.

Jeff is survived by his beloved Barbara; children Saffire, Randy, Ruben, and grandchildren; dogs Coco and Taz; brother Steven (Sherry) and sister Patrice (Lane) as well as cousin Brad and other extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Stanford and Jeannine Harris Holt.

Jeff’s journey on earth has finally come to an end, but he will live on in the hearts of all those who were lucky enough to have known him during this life. In honor of Jeffrey Wayne Holt, please spend the day fishing at Baker Dam; up in Enterprise or at Kolob Reservoir. Or, enjoy some time with those you love on Flat-Top, Cedar or Pine Valley Mountains.
