Jacqueline Moen

Jacqueline Moen, aged 86, passed away December 2, 2023, in Hurricane, Utah. Jackie was born on June 16, 1937, in Peoria, Illinois, to Albert Frank and Louis Frank (Eckberg). On November 11, 1983, she married her loving husband, Lowell Moen.

Jackie grew up in Galva, Illinois, and spent most of her early adulthood raising her family in Peoria, Illinois. She was a dedicated wife and mother, who loved cooking, took great pride in homemaking, and was a devoted member of the church. In her later years Jackie worked as a credit manager for Key Industries, enjoyed road trips with her husband, Lowell, knitting, and reading. She will be remembered by her family for her iconic sense of style and elegance. With her impeccably arranged outfits and matching jewelry, it was often a joke in our family that we had never seen her without makeup on and hair styled. She taught us all how to handle life with class and grace, and for that we will be forever grateful. Jackie adored her grandchildren, and her face would light up when her great-grandchildren entered the room, she loved nothing more than hearing about their adventures and spending time with them.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathi Roberts of Hurricane, Utah, Julie (Scott) Reiman of Scenic, Arizona, and Traci (Bill) Stoecker of Princeville, Illinois, her stepchildren, Eric (Ann) Moen, Laura (Keith) Woods, and Emily (Brady) Mann, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and one sister Glenda (Rodger) Grafton of Lakeland, Florida. She is proceeded in death by her husband Lowell, both of her parents, and 2 grandchildren.

Burial services will be held at a later date in Peoria, Illinois. Donations in her name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
