Eva Annette Nielson Heki

Eva Annette Nielson Heki, 85, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in St. George, Utah. She was born July 4, 1937, in Leamington, Utah, to Wallace Nielson and Grace Viola Yates Nielson. She was married to Jerry D. Heki on September 10, 1957, in Henderson, Nevada. 

Annette enjoyed crocheting, card playing, and being with her family and grandchildren. She was a Foster Grandparent at the elementary school for a few years and loved it, she was very sad when she could no longer do it.

She is survived by Shelley Whitaker (John) and Cindy Whitaker (Mike) of Fallon, Nevada, Keith (Kim) Heki of Veyo, Utah, and Karen Gardener (Brian) of Enterprise, Utah, her sister Lorraine Whitaker Watts of Kanosh, Utah, 22 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, son-in-law John, grandson Patrick, 10 siblings and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Veyo, Utah. The view will be from 9:30 - 10:45 am. Interment will take place in the Veyo Cemetery.
