Darius Rexford Hammon

Darius Rexford Hammon, age 16, passed away due to a vehicle accident on September 12, 2023.

He was born August 24, 2007, in Centennial Park, Arizona, to Edson Jessop Hammon and Audrey Cawley Hammon. Darius was raised in Centennial Park and attended Masada Charter School up through 9th grade. He attended Centennial Academy into his Junior year. Darius loved serving family and community. He worked on many projects with his father, brothers, and friends. He was very close to many of his classmates and friends, whom he called brothers. His willing heart and strong hands will be greatly missed. He is survived by his father, mothers, brothers, sisters, and a large extended family.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at the Centennial Park Chapel, Centennial Park, Arizona. Another viewing will take place on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, also at the chapel.

Funeral services will follow the viewing, starting at 1:00 pm, prior to the Interment at the Centennial Park Cemetery.
