St. George Utah â€" Anthony Kirk Pintus, 53, passed away Friday April 8, 2022. He was born on December 6, 1968, in Carmel California to Anne Labelle and Kent Pintus. He married Sandy Sue Clark on August 2, 1997, in Sandy, Utah.
Kirk was raised in Utah, where upon graduating high school, he moved to southern California. During the time he lived there, he met the love of his life, Sandy Clark. Kirk & Sandy moved back to Utah in 1994 to start a family. They had two sons together, Kyle Anthony Pintus, born in 1994, and Maxx Logan Pintus, born in 2002. In 2004, Kirk & Sandy moved to St. George, where Kirk built their family home that they raised their children together. Kirk had a love for the ocean and the greater outdoors. When he wasn’t traveling, Kirk loved to be on the water, jet skiing, fishing, and boating with his family. Lake Powell was a special place that Kirk truly felt one with nature. Kirk had a passion for sports that started with him playing baseball as a child. His favorite pastime was baseball, but Kirk enjoyed watching anything from football to golf.
He is survived by his wife Sandy and his two sons Kyle & Maxx, who reside in St. George. His sister Kimberly Sponaugle, who resides in Apex, North Carolina. His brother Michael Pintus, who resides in Modesto, California. His brother William Pintus, who resides in San Diego, California. He is preceded in death by his grandparents William & Ruby Pintus on his father’s side, as well as Rene & Nellie Labelle on his mother’s side.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, April 22, 2022, 1:00 pm at Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, Utah. A sharing of memories will begin at 1:30 pm.
