Alan Robert Taylor, 79, was born December 12, 1942, and passed away in his home on July 22, 2022. Alan Taylor was born in Los Angeles, California to Ralph and Marion Taylor.
Alan was married to his sweetheart Linda Lee Taylor in Salt Lake City on March 20, 1986. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple in 1987. Alan worked as a truck driver for many years, and later found a career he loved driving school bus for the Washington County School District.
Alan was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alan loved spending time with his family as well as his pets that he considered a part of that family. Anyone who got to know Alan would quickly learn that he was a caring man who tried to help those in need.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Marion Taylor, his sister Eileen, his wife Linda Taylor, and his children Scott, Rob, Shaylynn, and Ann Marie. He is survived by his son Shane Taylor, adopted son Scott Taylor, and by multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on August 1, 2022, at 10:00 am at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, Utah.
