Thomas (Tom) Vernon Reynolds passed away Friday July 13, 2012 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah.
He was born May 13, 1929 in Springville, Utah, the first child of Thomas V. and Lucy Elaine Carter Reynolds.
He attended school in Provo, Utah, graduating from BY High in 1947. Four years of service in the Air Force preceded an LDS Mission to Long Island, NY.
He served for many years as an excellent mail carrier in American Fork while memorizing almost all the names and addresses of residents. Tom married Donna Lou Emmett April 12, 1995. His later years were spent in Southern Utah with his wife, Donna Lou who survives him.
He is also survived by siblings, Reta Reynolds Hall (UT) and Lenford Reynolds of Kingman, AZ; 3 half-sisters, two half-brothers and many cousins, nephews and nieces; step-daughters, Patricia (Brian) Smith of American Fork, UT, Carol Lynne (Dennis) Judd of Naples, UT and Julia Kippen of Idaho Falls, ID; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will meet on Saturday July 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT. Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m. in the Washington City Cemetery.
