Jennifer Graham Daugherty, age 40, passed away Friday July 13, 2012. She was born January 20, 1972, in Bountiful, Utah, to Gail Lucas & Billy Wayne Graham.
She enjoyed growing up in a country setting in the community of West Haven, Utah. She loved to reminisce about the many family outings and camping trips, and laugh about driving around in our old red Volkswagen. Jennifer experienced much pain and disappointment during her troubled teenage years. Her beloved grandparents, Ken and Rebecca Lucas, rescued her when she was stranded in Texas, and brought her to live with them in St. George.
She married Mark Bailey in 1995 and they found so much joy in their daughter Megan Mark Bailey. Megan was the light of Jennifer's life, and she was so proud of the sweet and accomplished young woman she became. Jennifer loved her immediate and extended family, and received much love and support from them. These were among the many angels that the Lord sent to watch over her. She also had many close friends and loved the sweet and caring people in the Eagles Landing Ward.
Jennifer married Joel Robert Daugherty December 3, 2010. They joined the family for vacations in Bear Lake, Utah, and Sunriver, Oregon. They both enjoyed the swimming, boating, bike riding and the time together with the family.
Jennifer is survived by her husband Joel of Washington, her daughter Megan and grandparents Kenneth and Ramona Lucas of St. George, her parents Gail & Nyman Winn of West Haven, her siblings: Jeff (Neika) Graham of Warrnambool, Australia, Tami (Brandon) Fife of Heber City, Kathryn (Cole) Watson of Willard, Kristen Winn of West Point, Scott Winn of Orem, and Perri Winn of Salt Lake City.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Rebecca Gibson Lucas.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff, St. George, Utah. Family and friends may come for the viewing one hour before the services, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
