James Mike Aloi passed away June 8, 2012, in St. George, Utah, surrounded by his loving family. James, “Jim,” was born on September 14, 1948, in Long Beach, California. He married Kim Andrews, on February 14, 1999, on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

Jim loved to cook, take long walks, read and most of all to spend time with his family.

Jim served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. Before and after his military service, Jim worked at Southern California’s Edison before “retiring” to Maui. Jim spent his second career working for Parsons Corporation in infrastructure and technology.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kim, and son, Jacob, who reside in St. George, Utah and his son, Greg, who lives in California. Jim’s mother, Bert Aloi; Aunt Sharon Jordan; three brothers, Tom (Sue) Aloi, David (Rendy) Aloi, and Mark Aloi; one sister, Kim (David) Killackey; a niece, Lauren and four nephews, Ryan, David, Dean, and Jim; and grandniece, Layla are among surviving relatives who also reside in California.

 A Celebration of life ceremony will be held in California on July 7, 2012.
